Our mission in this region began at the invitation of the Bishop of Guntur, Rt Rev. Dr Gali Bali, whose vision was to promote quality education among rural communities and enable them to attain a dignified place in society. Inspired by this vision, we committed ourselves to both educational and pastoral outreach.

During our first year, we visited families in Vykuntapuram and neighbouring villages. These visits helped us to witness the difficult realities faced by many, especially children and women. Limited access to education and lack of social support highlighted an urgent need for intervention and accompaniment.

Moved by these experiences, we took the initiative to establish a school in Vykuntapuram, Guntur District, and Andhra Pradesh. The school, named St John Antony Farina English Medium School was founded to provide accessible, value-based education and to empower the local community, especially the younger generation, to build a brighter and more dignified future.
